Stephanie Alessi-LaRosa, MD
Stephanie Alessi-LaRosa, MD, is an Assistant Clinical Professor of Neurology at the University of Connecticut. She completed residency at the University of Connecticut after graduating from St George’s University. She completed a fellowship at The Kutcher Clinic for Sports Neurology in Brighton, Michigan.
Dr. Alessi-LaRosa is the Director of the Hartford Healthcare Sports Neurology Program in Hartford, CT, and the program director of the Hartford Healthcare Sports Neurology Fellowship.
Dr. Alessi-LaRosa works football sidelines at the high school and collegiate levels and is also a ringside physician for boxing and mixed martial arts events. She specializes in the diagnosis and management of concussion, post-concussion syndrome and neurologic conditions in athletes. She has a passion for educating patients, communities and medical providers on the topics of brain health and sports neurology.
